Three people were able to escape without injury from their burning home in Wailuku Heights early Thursday morning, a fire official said.
The fire broke out around 12:52 a.m. Thursday at 447 Palani Place in Wailuku.
Fire units reported seeing flames as they were leaving the station. The Wailuku fire crew was first on the scene and found the approximately 1,200 square foot structure fully engulfed, a fire official said.

Three people escaped from a house fire in Wailuku Heights early Thursday morning.
The three occupants were two males and one female.
The fire was brought under control at 2:14 a.m.
A fire inspector Thursday morning was still at the scene and conducting an investigation.
Damages are estimated at $300,000 to the structure and $150,000 for the contents.
Four fire crews were dispatched along with two battalion chiefs.
