HONOLULU - The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team lost for the eighth time in nine matches on Saturday, 25-14, 29-17, 25-17 to Brigham Young at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Steven Hunt had 13 kills and three aces for the 11th-ranked Rainbow Warriors (7-14, 4-12 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation).
Taylor Sander had 18 kills and a .464 hitting percentage for the fourth-ranked Cougars (17-4, 13-3), who had a .411 hitting percentage in the match, including .632 in the first set.
Hawaii will play at Cal State Northridge on Friday and March 24.
