HONOLULU - Matt Sisto allowed one run in seven innings and Joe Goldenberg hit a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh as the University of Hawaii baseball team beat San Francisco 2-1 on Thursday at Les Murakami Stadium in the opener of a four-game series.
The Rainbows (12-6) won their third straight game.
Sisto (4-1) allowed four hits, struck out three batters and walked none.
The Dons fell to 9-9. Alex Balog (0-1) allowed two runs - one earned - while striking out 11 batters in seven innings.
The teams play again today.
