STANFORD, Calif. - The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team snapped its seven-match losing streak Wednesday, beating Stanford in four sets at Maples Pavilion.
Steven Hunt had 22 kills, six digs and four blocks to lead the 14th-ranked Warriors to the 20-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-23 victory. UH improved to 7-12, 4-10 in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play.
JP Marks added a career-high 18 kills and Harrison Carroll contributed nine kills and five digs for UH.
Brian Cook led the No. 3 Cardinal (14-5, 11-4) with 18 kills while Brad Lawson added 17 kills.
The Warriors next host Brigham Young for a pair of MPSF matches March 16-17.
