Condominium Council sets educational seminar series

February 15, 2012
The Maui News

WAILUKU - The Condominium Council of Maui has started its 2012 Educational Seminar Series and drive for annual membership renewals.

Robert Miskae of the organization said recently that condo owners can become 2012 CCM members by registering and paying online via its website, which is www.mauicondocouncil.com. Online forms also may be printed out, filled out and paid by mail.

Many seminars come with a flier describing the full event on the website but do not come with the price of general membership. Two are planned during the upcoming weeks.

The first seminar is on insurance and is scheduled for Tuesday at the King Kamehameha Golf Club, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The keynote speaker will be the state's insurance commissioner, Gordon Ito.

The next notable seminar is a legal seminar - with breakfast served - on March 28 from 8 a.m. to noon, followed by the Condominium Council of Maui's annual meeting.

Annual membership dues are $100 per association management company, $100 for a business partner/affiliate, $50 for a homeowner association/condo association and $50 per individual owner, according to its website.

The organization said that it has been around since 1991 and holds regular meetings so members can share their experiences and problems and find solutions as well as network and learn from professional speakers.

For more information, call the council at 573-4231, email CondoCouncilMaui@hotmail.com or write CCM, P.O. Box 1742, Wailuku 96793.
