The owners of Cary & Eddie's Hideaway Restaurant in Kahului want to remind holiday party planners about their affordable banquet room.
It offers oceanfront views of Kahului Harbor, an indoor and outdoor atmosphere, and it's available for lunch, brunch and dinner. In addition, the room comes with a number of added-value services.
"For parties of 50 or more people, we provide a free sound system, audio/visual services and even big-screen video karaoke on request," says the Hideaway owner Cary Munoz. "Our prices are surprisingly low, and it includes food, beverages, tax, gratuity and set-up -so there are no hidden fees."

"We really enjoy hosting Christmas holiday gatherings, and the rooms will be decorated with the holiday spirit theme," Munoz continues.
"We also enjoy assisting with weddings, birthdays, showers, graduation parties, baby luaus, reunions and business meetings - and many partygoers have thanked us for providing such an affordable venue with great food and extra services."
The Hideaway's all-you-can-eat buffet features barbecue baby back pork ribs cooked by Chef Eddie Hernandez, the namesake of the restaurant along with Munoz. He also makes local favorites, such as teriyaki chicken, sauteed mahimahi and beef luau.
Hernandez adds to the mix with specialty Mexican entrees and a soup-and-salad island of more than 30 items, including fresh veggies, prepared salads, fruit and flan.
"Brunch buffets include hearty fare like breakfast potatoes, local-style fried rice, scrambled eggs, Portuguese sausage, pork-link sausage, baked ham, mini pancakes, fruits and the salad island," says Cary. "Beverages include coffee, tea, iced tea, orange juice and soft drinks."
Menu items are also available for all banquet gatherings, and special menus can be created.
You may catch live entertainment at the Hideaway during Sunday brunch and weekdays for dinner. Or you may book live entertainment for banquets on your own or through the restaurant. Of course, advance reservations for your holiday parties are recommended.
