Great Autumn Festival Sept. 10
WAILUKU - The Great Autumn Festival of the Maui Jinsha Mission will be held on Sept. 10 at the shrine, 472 Lipo Place.
There will be a church service at 4:30 p.m., dinner at 5:30 p.m. and entertainment at 6:30 p.m.

Visiting teacher to give lecture
PAIA - A teacher from the Connecticut Diamond Way Buddhist Center will be giving a lecture and offering guided meditation on Thursday, beginning at 7:30 p.m., at the Maui Diamond Way Buddhist Center.
Tasso Kallianiotis was taught by Lama Ole Nydahl in the Diamond Way, which is part of the Karma Kagyu lineage of attaining enlightenment. His topic will be "Highest Truth is Highest Joy."
The gathering will be held at Paia Yoga, 161 Hana Highway. A $10 donation is requested.
