UH-MC will be adding several new faculty members to its ranks this year, in response to growing student enrollments and a wave of faculty retirements. Most of the positions are in core areas of the liberal arts, such as English and history, or science, technology, engineering and math. New faculty members also will be joining two of the college's most popular programs, nursing and culinary arts. Three positions are for the new four-year degrees: applied business and information technology, engineering technology and sustainable science management. All together, there will be 16 new faculty members.
