HONOLULU (AP) - A celebrity impersonator show is returning to Waikiki.
The Legends in Concert Waikiki show is to debut Dec. 8 at the Royal Hawaiian Center and is expected to bring 70 jobs. The center's 700-seat theater was renovated in 2008 and is undergoing further modifications for the opening.
Performances are to feature impersonations of celebrities including Michael Jackson, Madonna and Lady Gaga.
The previous Legends show in Waikiki abruptly closed in 1999.
Momi Akimseu of the Hawaii Tourism Authority said the show's return is an indication of recovery for the state's visitor industry.
