WAIEHU - The president and chief executive officer of The Christian Chronicle, the Church of Christ publication, will be giving sermons and lectures this month.
Lynn A. McMillon is a respected editor, teacher and lecturer and will base his sermons on the book of Hebrews, according to an announcement.
At Sunday morning worship services, which run from 10:30 a.m. to noon, he will be covering "Encouraging One Another," Hebrews 10:25, this Sunday, and "Eyes and Thoughts Set on Jesus," Hebrews 12:2 on June 26.
For the Sunday morning adult classes, which begin at 9:30 a.m., McMillon will talk Sunday about "Jesus' Sacrificial Work as a High Priest," Hebrews 8-10, and on June 26 on "Do Not Ever Give Up," Hebrews 11-13.
Sunday evening adult classes begin at 6 p.m., and McMillon will cover "Know What is Good for You, 'Let Us ...' '' No. 1 on Sunday and "Inducted Into The Faith Hall of Fame," Hebrews 11 on June 26.
On Wednesday and June 29, at the evening adult classes, which begin at 7 p.m., he will speak on "Know What's Good for You, 'Let Us ...' '' No. 2; and "What Have You Learned?" on those respective Wednesdays.
