HONOLULU - The Preschool Open Doors program has begun open enrollment for the 2011-12 school year.
Registration started March 1 and runs through April 30.
The state Department of Human Services funds Preschool Open Doors, an early-childhood education and care project aimed at low-income families statewide.
Officials determine eligibility according to family income. Any licensed preschool may accept students receiving Preschool Open Doors tuition assistance.
