Sports Spotlight students are selected by athletic officials from Maui County high schools and these profiles are compiled by the sports department of The Maui News. The Alexander & Baldwin Foundation makes a $200 donation in honor of each student athlete to their high school's athletic fund.
SPORTS LESSONS: "Tennis has taught me to give my best effort at all times, whether I am in a match or at practice. I put my best effort not only for myself but for many other people as well: my coach, my teammates, my family and my opponent. Knowing that I gave my best, I will be able to walk off the court content."
