Candlelight service tonight in Kihei
KIHEI - Keolahou Hawaiian Congregational Church will hold its Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 tonight, featuring the Christmas story through music and dance.

Christmas Eve, Day services announced
WAILUKU - Christmas Eve services at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church will begin at 6 tonight with a costumed pageant and family Eucharist. Children and young people will present the story of Christ's birth, with readings and carols.
Caroling will follow at 10:30 p.m., featuring members of the Maui Brass Ensemble under the direction of Lisa Owen. Everyone is invited to come and sing.
The traditional Christmas Mass will begin at 11 p.m. with music by the Senior Choir and the Brass Ensemble.
A Christmas Day service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday. There also will be a Christmas evening Eucharist at 5.
On Sunday at 8:30 a.m., the Rev. Linda Decker will preach and celebrate the Holy Eucharist.
Emmanuel Lutheran Church sets services
KAHULUI - Emmanuel Lutheran Church will hold Christmas Eve services with a children's play at 6 tonight, and Christmas Day services with traditional Scripture readings and carols at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church in Kahului.
There also will be a Christmas Eve service at 9 tonight in Lahaina.
Annual candlelight service tonight
WAILUKU - Valley Isle Fellowship will hold its annual candlelight service at 6:30 tonight at the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center in Wailuku, with carols, a presentation of the Christmas story and a drama.
The Praise Singers, under the direction of Wayne Kinoshita, will sing "To the King." The Praise Band directed by Pastor Darren Sarmiento will lead the congregation in a medley of Christmas songs.
The youth drama team will stage a show written by Sabrina Hamrick. The Touched by Grace Hula and Singing Team will present "A Christmas Hope," and Pastor Bob Duffer will provide the message.

Year-end Mass schedule announced
KIHEI - The end-of-year Mass schedule at St. Theresa Catholic Church will begin Dec. 31 with an Octave of Christmas Mass at 7 a.m.
On Jan. 1, there will be a Mass at 9:30 a.m., but no reconciliation service and no Mass at 5:30 p.m.
On the Epiphany, Jan. 2, there will be Masses at 7 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
