Personal: Age 14; son of Mokihana Jackson and and Ruben Villa of Hoolehua, Molokai; enjoys outdoor adventure, fishing, diving, hunting and soccer.
At School: Leadership Experience Opportunity, or LEO, club, Student Council class president.
Off Campus: Football, canoe paddling, church.
Beyond High School: Short-term goal is to maintain a 3.0 grade-point average or higher throughout high school. Long-term goal is to attend the University of Hawaii at Hilo and get a degree in marine biology.
What do you think is the biggest problem facing youth today?
"To me, the biggest problem facing youth today is drug and alcohol abuse. I say this because these days many teens go to parties, and abuse drugs and alcohol. They do a lot of negative things when under the influence too."
