WAILUKU - Door of Faith Church will sponsor an extension ministry school starting Sept. 8 that will allow students to obtain an associate degree in theology in three years through Transformation School of Ministries, an extension of Southwestern College of Christian Ministry in Oklahoma City.
Thomas Shillaci will be interim director of the Maui program.
A professor will come to Maui the first week of each month to hold classes on Wednesday and Thursday nights and Saturday, 12 hours in total.
The first lecturer will be Steve Willis of Dublin, Va., on Bible study resources and methods.
Tuition will be $150 per semester, and each semester will include four courses.
An informational meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Aug. 20 at Wailuku Door of Faith Church.
