HAIKU - Joeylene "Joey" Soares and David "Kawika" Dang Jr. have announced their engagement to be married June 19, 2010, at Lanakila Church in Wailuku.
She is the daughter of Lorna Wong Leong, the late Joseph Soares Sr. (father) and Joseph Wong Leong (stepfather). A 1997 graduate of Maui High School, she is the owner of Manutea Nui E.
He is the son of Bernadette Prudencio and David Dang Sr. A 1998 graduate of Taylorsville High School, he is the owner of Dang Property Services.
