Special events at St. John's Episcopal
KULA - St. John's Episcopal Church will host events tonight and next weekend. The Upcountry church will provide a free fellowship meal from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today. The home-cooked meals will be in the parish hall.
On Feb. 7, the church will hold a service for young children and "everyone else" at 5 p.m., featuring camp songs, a short sermon and Eucharist. The service will be preceded by a hot dog barbecue and a coffee hour at 4 p.m.

KAHULUI - The Maui County Baptist Association will hold a two-day biblical peace-making seminar on "Applying the Gospel to Conflicts of Daily Life."
The seminar will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Kahului Baptist Church, 309 S. Puunene Ave. The featured speaker will be Peter Celum, church and pastoral care specialist with the California Southern Baptist Convention.
