Free concert to be held in Lahaina
LAHAINA - Gospel blues musician Darrell Mansfield will give a free concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at Lahaina Baptist Church.
Mansfield is a Hohner Harmonica Hall of Fame inductee, and, in 2009, was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame: Ambassador of California.
Concert organizers suggest people bring canned goods to benefit the Feed My Sheep food program.
The church is on the corner of Honoapiilani Highway and Shaw Street. Its phone number is 661-3725.

Sunday evening service planned
WAILUKU - Gary Hamrick, pastor of evangelism and student ministries for Valley Isle Fellowship, will preach at the 6 p.m. Sunday.
The church sanctuary is at 473 S. High St. Sunday morning services are at Wailuku Elementary School at 8 and 9:45.
Hamrick led the church and the Maui County Baptist Association to start "Critical Mass" at Maui Community College. The Thursday evening program aims to "help students and young adults maximize their potential in school, life and with their relationship to God through Jesus Christ."
Hamrick also has been a key leader in the association's youth camp held in June at the YMCA's Camp Keanae.
