WAIKAPU - Ashley R. Wilt and Jonathan M. Upfold were married May 24, 2009, at the Maui Tropical Plantation, with the Rev. Kaleo Waiau officiating.
The bride is the daughter of John and Jean Wilt of Danville, Va., and attended Emmanuel Lutheran, St. Anthony and Baldwin High schools before the family moved to the Mainland. She is a graduate of Virginia Western Community College and currently serves as a pediatric dental hygienist.
The groom is the son of Sue Redpath of Haiku and the late Westley Redpath. He is a graduate of St. Anthony Junior Senior High School and Virginia Western Community College, and is currently a computer technician.

The matron of honor was Anna M. Crawford, sister of the bride.
The best man was Felix Domenden, uncle of the groom. The ushers were Todd Wilt, brother of the bride; and Louis Upfold, brother of the groom.
The flower girl was Aiyana Childers, friend of the bride, and the ring bearer was Tobias Vasquez, nephew of the groom.
A reception at the Maui Tropical Plantation followed the wedding.
The newlyweds spent five days on Kauai for their honeymoon.
They will reside in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
