* What would you do to improve education in Hawaii?

"To improve the education in Hawaii I would consider these steps: (1) Increase salaries for teachers. With the economical problem at an all-time high, salaries are needed to keep families from going under. (2) More teachers are needed. One teacher per class is not enough. There is too much stress put on one teacher, and it would be better if they had a helping hand from some other teacher or a student helper. (3) Classes must have more activities. Just sitting down and reading from a book can be boring. There must be adventures for students because without excitement, life can become dull and meaningless to a growing mind."
