Age 17; son of Dr. John Wright of Kula and Carol Wright of Makawao; enjoys music, basketball, church, friends.

* Off Campus:

Worship leader for youth group and participates in plays for the King's Cathedral.

* Beyond High School:

Plans to major in music and music business, and he intends to pursue a career "as the Lord leads me."

* What do you think is the biggest problem facing youth today?

"I think drugs are one of the biggest problems facing our youth today. Many kids throw their lives away because of their lack of self-control under peer pressure. Without these addictions, we would be a much greater generation and could bring the world into better times. I just find it sad seeing our youth throw their lives away."
