* What do you think is the biggest problem facing youth today?

"The biggest problem facing our youth today is alcohol, drugs and peer pressure. Many kids start experimenting with alcohol and drugs at a very young age, some as young as 10 years old! As these kids get older, they see more of it and begin to try new things, hoping to improve their status and to impress their friends. I see this happening, but all I can do is hope that the kids realize that drugs and alcohol are not a way to "be cool." By the age of 16, some kids choose to drop out of school and work, while drugs and alcohol linger in their lives. This issue is worldwide but, sadly, it is here in Hana, too."
