LAS VEGAS - Hoku Angela Aiko Bradley and Jessie Lawrence Hobbs are engaged to be married Oct. 4 in Las Vegas.
The ceremony and reception will be held at the Hampton Inn Tropicana.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Angeline and the late Raymond Bradley of Waiehu. She is a 1998 graduate of Baldwin High School and earned her bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 2002. Since graduating, she has worked as a civilian in the Navy, including 2-1/2 years in Iraq as a contractor for the Army.

The groom-to-be is the son of Jimmie and Nonnie Hobbs of Spring Lake, N.C., and Stan and Sherry Goff of Raleigh, N.C. He serves in the Army and has completed multiple tours to Iraq. He currently is deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
The couple resides in Parkton, N.C.
