WHITSETT, N.C. - Jared Lashley, son of Beverly Briones Lashley of Kahului, married Anna Kirkman, daughter of Don and Karen Kirkman of Julian, N.C., June 7, 2008.
The Rev. J. Lloyd Spencer officiated the ceremony at Mount Hope United Church of Christ in Whitsett, N.C.
The groom is a 1996 alumnus of Maui High School. He graduated with honors with a degree in accounting in December 1992 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He received his master's in accounting in 2004 and is now a senior accountant with Bernard Robinson & Co.

His wife earned her nursing degree in 2006 at UNC at Chapel Hill and is a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Moses Cone Hospital.
They live in Greensboro.
The wedding party included Greta Meads, maid of honor, and bridesmaids Jenna Kirkman, sister of the bride; Lindsey Puckett, sister of the groom; and Allison Horton.
The best men were Jason Kamakana and Chris Hill. The groomsmen were Darin Puckett, brother of the groom; Don Kirkman Jr., brother of the bride; and Jordan Hart, Joshua Clowdis, John Riley and Chris York.
The flower girls were Emily and Karly Smith, and the ring bearer was Kevin Smith; all are cousins of the bride.
