• OFF CAMPUS: Attends Kahului Union Church, coaches youth basketball and plays open-gym sports.
• BEYOND HIGH SCHOOL: Attend University of La Verne in California to study business management and play
basketball; after that, come home to help with his father’s business, Erwin DeCoite & Sons Trucking.
• WHO IS YOUR PERSONAL HERO AND WHY?
“My personal hero is my mother, Trinadean DeCoite. She is my hero because she has set a good example for me and raised me to be the young man that I am today. Throughout my life I have come across obstacles, but with my mother’s guidance, I have excelled and succeeded in many ways. My mother teaches me values that I abide by, and those values have only given me success. Having my mother as a hero makes me proud of who I am and that she is in my life to help. My mother, Trinadean Moanikeala DeCoite, is my hero.”
