Pianist Vienna Teng will show off her distinctive singer/ songwriter talents during a performance tonight at the MACC.
THURSDAY, NOV. 5 VIENNA TENG Singer-songwriter and pianist Vienna Teng’s dreamy, emotive ballads have been described as haunting, smart and introspective, gorgeously conceived and executed. Find out for yourself during her performance at 7:30 p.m. at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s McCoy Studio Theater. Amazon calls Vienna a brilliant young songwriter. Hits from her fourth and latest album, “Inland Territory,” such as “The Last Snowfall” and “White Light” are climbing the pop charts. Teng's musical style incorporates folk, pop, classical piano, and unaccompanied vocals. She writes lyrics with feeling, narrative, and personal history.
