Q: Does the Web site have an archive?

A: Yes, readers can read stories from the past several years. To search by SUBJECT, simply type a few key words of what you are looking for into the search box at the top of each page, right below Member Login. To search by ISSUE DATE, Choose the Month, Day and Year in the ARCHIVE SEARCH located directly below the Top Headline Poll box on our home page.

Q: Is the whole newspaper online?

A: No, the newspaper and the web site are not meant to be identical resources. The newspaper contains many features and stories not found on the web site. Conversely, the site has resources not available in print.

Q: Why do I have to register?

A: You don't, you only have registered if you want to leave comments on polls, stories and blogs. Registered users can upload photos to CU, save stories on their members page and sign up for e-mail alerts.

Q: When is MauiNews.com updated?

A: The web site is normally updated around midnight. When stories occur at other times, we will post them to the site and alert our readers by using a breaking news bar at the top of each page.
