Entries open for AKC dog shows

04-01 The Valley Isle Kennel Club of Maui is hosting a weekend of AKC dog shows April 25 and 26 at Kihei Elementary School. There will be three separate shows during the weekend. AKC judges from Canada and Florida will judge Maui’s finest dogs in conformation, obedience and rally competitio. more »»

Parent night set at Lahainaluna school

04-02 Lahainaluna High School will be holding its last Parent Information Night of the school year from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the school library. The event will include an energy expo and presentation by the students, and information about the artist in residence program. more »»

Keiki can read to a therapy dog

04-02 “Paws for Reading” will be presented at Wailuku Public Library on the first Thursday in the months of February, March and April. The free program for keiki in grades 1 through 5 will be offered on Thursday, March 5, and April 2, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the literacy roo. more »»

Fantasia Ball 2015 a benefit for Imua Family Services
