Former Maui News Scene Editor Rick Chatenever has been a veteran in the newspaper industry for over 30 years. In his weekly column and blog, he focuses on reviewing films, and talking to the people who make them, tracking the ever-changing spot where real life and reel life meet. He has won numerous journalism awards in both Hawaii and California, and currently teaches English at UH Maui College in Kahului.
