‘Ulalena offering discounted tickets during July
June 30, 2014 - Leah Sherman
I have seen ‘Ulalena at the Maui Theatre several times but it has been years since my last viewing, so I'm not in a position to offer a lot of thoughts on it. I'll just say that every time I have seen it, it has been a wonderful production.
But I wanted to share this information:
The show is celebrating its 15th anniversary by offering $20 tickets to Hawaii resident during the month of July, according to a press release that came across my desk.
For those unfamiliar with the production, “‘Ulalena . . . shows authentic depiction of the islands' history combined with emotive music and dance, dazzling acrobatics and state-of-the-art light, sound and stage equipment invokes the senses and leaves the viewer wanting to know more about the islands' culture and people,” according to the news release.
Gold seating tickets are available for shows between July 1 and 31 for buyers with valid Hawaii ID. According to the theater's website, ‘Ulalena is performed at 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The regular price for gold seating tickets is $69.99.
