Japengo on a roll at TOM golf tourney

In a continuous effort to support local philanthropies and organizations, Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa announces its participation in the annual Tom Rosenquist Legacy Golf Tournament – aka, TOM.
This fun golf tournament will tee off at the Kapalua Bay Course at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. It benefits Maui Preparatory Academy, and culminates in a special post-tournament dinner at the Pineapple Grill.
Hyatt Regency Maui’s ‘Aipono Award-winning Japengo restaurant will be in good company at the dinner. Chef Gevin Utrillo will serve his famous Japengo fried rice, packing a punch with char siu pork, prawns, chicken, and vegetables; and duck meatballs; alongside restaurants such as Sansei, Plantation House, Son’z and Fleetwood’s on Front Street.
Wanna play? Team entry costs $1,000 for four people and includes tournament, lunch, and post-tournament awards dinner and auction at Pineapple Grill, known as the "Cheers" of Maui.
