There are five teams in MIL Division II softball and the eight-game regular season ended with a four-way tie on top after Seabury Hall beat Molokai 9-8 in a make-up game Wednesday.
Molokai, Hana, Lanai and Seabury are all 5-3. A four-game playoff will be played today at Duke Maliu Regional Park on Molokai:
9 a.m. Lanai vs. Hana
11 a.m. Seabury vs Molokai
1 p.m. Losers play for third and fourth seeds
3 p.m. Winners play to first and second seeds — a state-tournament berth will to the winner, which will be the regular-season champion.
These games will decide seeding for the MIL tournament, which begins on Friday with games at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. & 3 p.m. at Maliu Park.
The MIL's top two finishers will go to the state tournament and the third-place team will play the Kauai Interscholastic Federation runner-up for the 12th and final spot in the state tournament.
Got all that?
