Request from an Iowa student
March 3, 2014 - Leah Sherman
Seems like all of my recent blog posts have been related to students' requests for Hawaii information.
I really do have other topics in the works. For some reason I've just been having trouble sitting down and writing them. (Of course, suggestions for blog entries are always welcome at firstname.lastname@example.org.)
But for now I've got one more request from a student:
“Aloha! My name is Kennedy K. I am a fifth-grade student at Harlan Intermediate School in Harlan, Iowa. My class is studying the geography and history about the United States. I am so luck to get Hawaii, the 'Aloha State!' I would really appreciate it if you would send me some sand, seashells, and a state map.
“My teacher Mrs. Newlin would like a car license pate for a school project (if possible). I really appreciate your time.
Items can be mailed to:
Mrs. Newlin's Social Studies Class

Harlan, IA 51537
