A rightwinger with a good idea

September 15, 2013 - Harry Eagar
It doesn't happen often, so RtO should seize the moment.

Key idea:

"If scientists are wrong about evolution, try convincing them, not high-school students."

The author, Kevin Williamson, went to a public high school in Texas which just goes to show that even in Texas some people can think clearly despite being brought up in an environment where almost ll the role models are ignorant boobs.

I doubt readers of this blog will take that bait. It is thankfully free of religious zealots.

Other blogs, yes, we'd be inundated with superstition.

I have a longtime interest in biology and wrote about it often when I was on the Mainland and surrounded by religious cranks. But the fervor for going back to the Dark Ages is not nearly so strong in Hawaii.

Lucky we live here, eh?

Throwing out the bait.

You mean Darwin was wrong! Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle.

Wait for it. Wait for it.
