Ki Ho'alu Guitar Festival
June 22, 2013 - Leah Sherman
Coming up on Sunday, from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's Yokouchi Pavilion and Amphitheater is the 22nd annual Ki Ho'alu Guitar Festival. The event is free and features the best slack-key guitar players from around the state. You are welcome to bring low beach chairs or blankets/towels to sit on. In years past, there has also been plenty of bleachers and folding chairs set up. Food and beverages are available for purchase.
It is seriously a great (low-cost ) way to spend the day — my husband and I have have gone many times in the past. Just don't forget the sunscreen.
