Crazy softball game in Makawao

March 11, 2013 - Robert Collias
Here is the start of my story from the Seabury Hall-Molokai softball game Saturday at Eddie Tam Field, which was as wild a prep softball game as you will ever see:

MAKAWAO - In a game that didn't want to end, the Molokai High School softball team found the last gasp.

The Farmers trailed by seven runs after two innings, got within one and then faced four-run deficits on three more occasions, including going into the bottom of the eighth, before scoring five times for a 19-18 win over Seabury Hall on Saturday at Eddie Tam Field.

The Maui Interscholastic League Division II game took 3 hours, 16 minutes, and had 42 hits, nine errors and just two pitchers.
