MIL football: KSM-Maui High underway

UPDATE II: With 11 minutes left in the game, Kamehameha Maui leads 7-3 in a game marred by missed chances and penalties.

UPDATE: Maui High leads 3-0 at halftime on a 25-yard field goal by Jared Kapisi. Both teams also missed long field-goal attempts, including a 49-yarder by Kapisi that hit the crossbar and bounced back.

It is midway through the first quarter scoreless in the first MIL game of the season with a crowd of about 3,000 at War Memorial Stadium in a game between Maui High and Kamehameha Maui.
