Finau signed by Eagles

June 23, 2012 - Robert Collias
Former Lahainaluna, Maui High and Kahuku standout Tevita Finau's winding road has now stopped in Philadelphia.

The Eagles signed him to a free-agent contract on Friday — check the spelling of "Kahuku" in this link. A 6-foot-4, 283-pounder, Finau is one of eight tackles among 15 defensive linemen on the current 90-man Philadelphia roster.

Undrafted after his senior season at Utah, where he had 37 tackles, including 10 in the Sun Bowl, Finau originally signed with the Arizona Cardinals in May.

The Eagles carried 10 defensive linemen in 2011 on their 53-man roster, including five tackles.
