Kamalani earns scholarship for Ducks

This news has been a while in coming, but Maui workout guru David Kamalani told me last week that his son Keloni Kamalani has earned a scholarship for at the University of Oregon.

Keloni Kamalani came out of spring drills listed as a second-teamer at SAM linebacker and droip end spots. David Kamalani said that Keloni earned his scholarship before the spring game, something that is usually decided after that event.

In his two seasons on the field for the Ducks, Kamalani has played on the winning side in the Rose Bowl, has stepped out of the shadows and into the spotlight, and has also played in the National Championship Game.

Trust me, his scholarship is well-deserved and long overdue.
