Isagawa three back going to final round of Pac-12 golf
April 28, 2012 - Robert Collias
Baldwin graduate Cassy Isagawa, a University of Oregon freshman, is still tied for seventh at the Pacific-12 Conference women's golf championship, but she is just three shots out of the lead — 23 players are within five strokes of the lead held by first-round leader Giulia Molinaro of Arizona State and Cal's Daniela Holmqvist.
Holmqvist may be a familiar name to readers here because she won the first Anuenue Spring Break Classic at Kapalua last month when Isagawa recorvered from an opening round 80 to finish tied for eighth.
Isagawa is at 76-72—148, Holmqvist recovered from an opening 77 with a 68 today and Molinaro shot 71-74 the first two days.
California, the team runner-up by two strokes here to Colorado, leads the Buffaloes by three strokes, while Isagawa's Ducks are seventh, 18 strokes back. The final round is Sunday.
