April 5, 2012 - Robert Collias
This just landed in one of my many in-boxes, from Doris Sullivan of the Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance — pretty cool stuff for Lahainaluna High School lineman Hercules Mataafa:
Honolulu, HI April 3, 2012 — Tom Lemming will be visiting Hawaii on Sunday, April 22nd, 2012 to photograph and interview the top football players in the state. The session will be held at Kapolei High School at 4:00 pm on the football field.
Listed by the New York Times as one of the "Ten Most Influential People in all of College Sports" Lemming is featured on his own show on CBS Sports TV 'The Lemming Report', has written for ESPN, USA Today and been quoted in over 400 newspapers across the country. Every year, Lemming evaluates over 1,500 top athletes each year, logging countless miles and hours at camps, combines and games to personally eyeball talent. His annual "Prep Report" has long been considered a recruiting bible for school's across the country.
This is the 3rd year PIAA has hosted Tom Lemming and his event. Players must be on track to be academically eligible to be invited. Those invited and confirmed to attend include but are not limited to:
