Saddle up to Makawao for monthly Third Friday event

March 16th will be a “Carnival” affair in Makawao for its Town Party event.
”This carnival-themed event will offer a wider variety of ethnic food offerings than ever before, colorful costumes, masks, beads, outlandish performers, and even more music! Makawao Town will be flooded with special discounts and offers in the shops around town, activities for the whole family, and informational booths from local nonprofits,” says publicist Donna Yanos.
At the Paragon Salon Lot, load your shopping bag with SoMoor Tropical Jams & Jellies; munch Middle Eastern treats at the Falafel Cart; and do the lambada at the Puerto Rican Food Truck.
