Flatbread Company benefit series for pizza lovers
December 2, 2011 - Carla Tracy
Love pizza? How about pizzas that feature all organic, locally produced ingredients prepared in an earthen kiawe-wood fired oven?
On Tuesday, Dec. 6, pizza lovers may savor these gourmet pies and take advantage of a fun and delicious opportunity to show community support by attending Flatbread Company’s benefit night for the Haku Baldwin Center.
Enjoy one of the delicious pizzas -- and help support therapeutic programs on Maui. Located at 89 Hana Highway in Paia, Flatbread Pizza offers street parking and in the community lot on the west end of town.
A portion of the sales from all small and large pizzas sold on Dec.6, from 5 to 10 p.m. will be donated to the Haku Baldwin Center. Proceeds will support HBC’s animal-assisted therapeutic programs for Maui’s special needs keiki and patients of all ages. The fundraiser will also feature a small silent auction with items from local businesses, including art, gift certificates and other merchandise.
Flatbread Company's efforts to host benefit nights for Maui-based organizations continue to contribute positively to the local community.
