MIL has a lot of grads playing college basketball
November 30, 2011 - Robert Collias
Led by Parade All-American and state player of the year Maiki Viela from Lahainaluna, who is at Gonzaga, the MIL has a large contingent of graduates playing college basketball.
Although I knew of a lot of them, with the help of St. Anthony coach Alan Walls, we have put together this list of MIL hoops players now in college basketball, at all levels, from Viela and former teammate Milika Taufa at Indiana, to Division III JV players. It is, as far as I know, the largest number of college basketball players ever from the MIL at one time:

Of the eight freshmen boys players, seven of them attended Walls' Maui Sports Academy Basketball Exposure camp.
There may be more, I know, so if you know of someone I have missed, boys of girls, please let me know and I will add them to the list.
