| | Baldwin leads 14-6 at halftimeNovember 11, 2011 - Robert ColliasThe Baldwin High School football team leads Farrington 14-6 at halftime of an First Hawaiian Bank/HHSAA Division I state quarterfinal game at War Memorial Stadium. Farrington scored first on a 92-yard, nine play drive helped by two Baldwin penalties to take a 6-0 lead on an 8-yard run by Tyler Taumua, the state's leadinmg rusher, with 8:25 left in the first quarter. The Bears took a 7-6 lead on a 17-yard scoring run by Keelan Ewaliko on the final play of the first quarter. The Govs were flagged for a roughing the kicker on the PAT and Baldwin recovered an onside kick. The Bears reached the Farrington 9-yard line before losing the ball on downs. After some other craziness late in the half, the Bears upped the lead on a 12-yard scoring pass from Ewaliko to Kaiana Camvel with 23 seconds left in the half. Stay tuned right here for more.
